Telerik Announces RadControls for WPF Beta 2 Release

Setting a higher standard in .NET toolset performance

NEWTON, MA, July 07, 2008 - Telerik, a leading vendor of developer tools and components for .NET, is pleased to announce the release of RadControls for WPF Beta 2. The latest version includes five new controls, as well as existing component updates and performance improvements. With the new release, Telerik continues its dedication to providing a complete and powerful WPF toolset to add business value to customers’ applications through unprecedented user interface.

The latest edition capitalizes on Telerik’s expertise in Microsoft’s Silverlight technology. Five controls—RadTreeView, RadPanelBar, RadSlider, RadNumericUpDown, RadProgressBar—have been migrated from the Silverlight suite and integrated into RadControls for WPF.

Furthermore, the filtering support of RadGridView is considerably improved, allowing you to define your own filtering descriptions through the customizable filtering feature. Another addition to the flagship component’s features is Excel-like UI, letting users quickly pick a filter value.

RadCarousel is also enhanced with scrollbar visibility and easier styling.

The official release of RadControls for WPF, scheduled for the end of July will introduce several more brand new controls and significant improvements of the existing components.
