Telerik is proud to announce the work in progress on its own Silverlight 2 3D engine. The 3D engine will be first implemented in the upcoming RadChart for Silverlight. The new 3D functionality together with animated, fully customizable RadGauge and RadChart for Silverlight empower enterprise application developers to rapidly create high performing, interactive, powerful Business Intelligence applications.
The unique Telerik 3D engine for Silverlight 2 will allow changing perspective and lighting, pushing the boundaries of the data visualization capabilities of RadControls for Silverlight.
Being based on Microsoft’s Silverlight technology, Telerik 3D RadChart for Silverlight will allow developers to seamlessly integrate the control’s capabilities into compelling rich data visualization Silverlight applications.
Telerik RadChart for Silverlight is expected to be released with Q1 2009, in the beginning of March. Q1 2009 will be a milestone release for RadControls for Silverlight, since it will feature the official release of RadGridView, RadDocking, RadChart, Masked TextBox for Silverlight as well as RadEditor for Silverlight CTP. The 3D capabilities of RadChart will be officially implemented with the Q2 release of RadControls for Silverlight in midsummer.
