Telerik a was proud Sponsor and Partner of the Visual Studio 2010 Global Launch which took place simultaneously on April 12, 2010 in five cities worldwide – Las Vegas, London, Kuala Lumpur, Bangalore and Beijing. The Telerik team was present as an exhibitor and supporter at the Las Vegas and Bangalore events.
In conjunction with the Visual Studio 2010 and Silverlight 4 Global Launch, Telerik was also a Platinum sponsor of the DevConnections conference in Las Vegas (April 12-14, 2010). Hundreds of attendees, customers, and fans visited the shiny black-and-green Telerik booth to learn about the exciting new releases and future plans. The Telerik Silverlight 4 controls and the stunning new demos were in the spotlight, but so were pretty much all other products – the ORM and Reporting tools, JustCode, and of course the renowned RadControls for AJAX, MVC, Windows Forms, WPF.
However, a pivotal point at DevConnectoins was the special announcement of Teleirk’s strategic expansion and official premiere of two new product divisions – Automated Testing Tools and Team Productivity Tools. Telerik Chief Evangelist Todd Anglin, together with Joel Semeniuk and Chris Eyhorn gave a presentation on Building Better Software: From Planning to Construction to Testing. The demo happened at the Telerik booths and attracted a huge crowd.
Among the numerous other activities that Telerik organized were the special vendor session, the official premiere of JustMock, as well as the “Great Telerik and Microsoft Party” at “Jet Club” in the Mirage.
Telerik was literally everywhere at DevConnections. Our fans showed their loyalty and wore a special bright green Telerik T-shirt at the Scott Guthrie
keynote.
Four people of those who wore the T-shirt flew over the Grand Canyon after winning the Telerik Helicopter Trip.
