Telerik is taking part in the .NET Developer Conference, held in Nuremberg, Germany. The DDC is a developer event of dotnetpro, the trade magazine for .NET, Visual Basic, C + + and VBA for software developers. After a successful launch in 2011, the organizers look forward to the second edition. The attendees will benefit from more than 50 sessions, presented by more than 30 top speakers. The keynote will be delivered by Jeff Potter, author of "Cooking for Geeks".

The session starts with an attempt to write the mapping layer by hand, showing clearly how much work it is and where the limits are, continues discussing how the ORMs are targeting those functions so that a choice which way is the best for one’s application can be made.
