I have used Telerik's controls for about 2 years now. Before choosing Telerik I evaluated a lot of other controls on the market, but found Telerik's to be the most complete offering.
Clients love them because they look really good. I love them because they are easy to implement - and save me from having to write a lot of functionality myself. And the functionality that they do provide adds real polish to the application.

Telerik is for sure the best option on .NET Component packs. Every product is 100% managed code, and you can access the source code of almost every package. The support is very effective and you get quick answers by the Telerik team or by community users. But I needed support just a few times: the documentation is very complete and well written (especially the ASP.NET documentation and training PDF). The price is very reasonable and I'm sure that I have started a great partnership that will last for many years. The reason is very simple: today, I don't have to look for any kind of components, because Telerik has it all. Really ALL (ASP.NET, Silverlight, XBAP and Windows Forms).

I have been developing with ASP.NET since it came out. Telerik's tools make my life a lot easier as a developer, and are often written in a way that I would have, which is a huge bonus. I value their approach to mirror Microsoft design practices, which allows me to leverage my 'raw .NET' development experience to get productive quickly.
I must also say that the Telerik controls are far superior to another third party products, which I have also owned. I am talking about the internal things you find out about after you are committed to use the controls for *real* work - not just sample applications.

When you start looking for one, the most important thing in any component suite is the functionality. I've tried them all and Telerik offers more than any of the others. More tools and more functions. Things that let me concentrate on what I do best - writing software.
When you start using them, the really important thing becomes the support. On this Telerik does not let down either. Real people who really know what they are doing and who really care about their products.

I've been working with the Telerik Silverlight controls since August last year, after they were mentioned in a Devscovery conference as an example of some of the cool things that can be done with Silverlight and WPF. I must say that in just a short period of time I've been able to implement the chart control into my existing ASP.NET application using the samples and some posts on the Internet. After using many of their competitor's controls I must say that Telerik is definitely a step above the rest. Their controls are extremely clean and professional looking and I can't see myself using anything else for my projects in the future.

Telerik controls are the gold standard for components. I have used almost every one of their custom controls and I have found them superior to anything else on the market. They also give the best support in the business and I have been able to get help on customization of various controls within 1 business day. They have more demos and help files than any company by far.

I'm a newbie to the web world,
I'm originally a "uniPaaS" (application development environment) programmer, team leader and an expert on Magic Software Enterprises products. The difference between a company that keeps it's "cards close to her chest" and the openness of Telerik, the responsiveness, the open support tickets, the demos and shear mass of available resources is mind boggling.
I started working on a project straight out of a 2 courses that lasted 2 weeks. I heard of Telerik from my teacher, in his words: "Use Telerik. It does everything and saves you a lot of problems, the code is great and the service is very responsive." I thought he was exaggerating, but I was wrong!!
The code is a pleasure and the service, don't get me started on the support service.
The support is very responsive, faster then they say. They nail it on the head every time. I feel like I have a team working with me and it feels great!
I love working with the Telerik toolox and with Telerik, the company. Telerik is a strategic partner, as far as I have any thing to say about it!

I have been using your controls since 2002 and have found that they have always given me a competitive edge when biding for projects and contracts. My designers no longer ask me if we can do something they just assume your tools will provide the solution and we haven't been let down yet.
On the few occasions I've needed support I've always received a prompt and helpful response with code examples where necessary.
When I was chairman of VBUG I always took every opportunity to sell the advantages of using the Telerik tools to my fellow developers and continue to do so.

We've been developing a WPF based project for the last few months, and we had been using the standard Microsoft built in controls up until that point. However, there were simply too many issues that we kept running into. All of our resources were spent trying to fix issues with the controls rather than furthering the application.
So we started using the trial version of Telerik's WPF controls. Most of the controls had the same exact API and were simply swapped in for the Microsoft controls. They worked out of the box. Not only that, but all of the issues were gone. For a few remaining issues, Telerik had examples how to resolve them and we were back in the running again.
I'd like to share one specific example. The TreeView control from Microsoft has a property called SelectedItem which is ReadOnly. It takes hundreds of lines of code to select an item in the tree and it's implementation was clunky and non-intuitive. Telerik's RadTreeView exposes that same property, except that their's is Read/Write capable. Which means with one line of declared code using binding, I was able to remove hundreds of lines of unnecessary and confusing code. Not only was it far more clear, concise and clean, it was far more reliable and fluid.
Since then we have decided to purchase their Premium Collection of Telerik controls for all of our developers, with the goal of easing our efforts and delivering our product on time.

Telerik WPF RadRibbonBar is great! I used this control on all my projects and its been great using the different color themes.
The RadRibbonBar control provides the same feeling like using office 2007.

I have been developing with Micorosft technologies as a developer for over 15 years. I have used third party software in the past and struggled with their controls, support and overall experience. I always had to jump through hoops to get their controls and my apps to do what I wanted to do and to do what they boasted they could do.
So last year I needed a third party software development tool with controls for ajax. I decided to try Telerik. From their sales team a year ago all the way until today when they responded to one of my many support tickets, I have NEVER seen a more easy to use, perfectly documented control suite with unbelievable technical support!!!

My developer team has been using the Telerik control suite for over a year now on an internal application. I have used Telerik's RadControls for Silverlight and WPF in several projects which have been based on Prism (Composite Application Guidance for WPF and Silverlight), a product provided by the Microsoft patterns & practices team. As with this technology, the Telerik controls are perfectly architectured towards cross-platform development and fit very well in the MVVM pattern.
I'm planning to use Telerik's products for all my upcoming Silverlight / WPF projects.

The DataGrid that is part of the RadControls for WPF is the best on the market for handling large amounts of data. I loaded and sorted over 50,0000 inventory objects in a few seconds as compared to a couple of minutes using other WPF DataGrids. It did not have to implement my own Custom Sort to deal with performance issues that other WPF DataGrids suffer from. It was the fastest out of the box, where I had to implement my own Custom Sort to improve the performance for the other WPF DataGrids that were heavily tied to using .NET Reflection. I am very happy my company chose Telerik and their brand of products for our Next Generation Application. Thanks!

Our progression from the WinForms suite to the WPF suite was a natural one when we decided to start building WPF applications. We continue to be impressed not only with the quality of the controls within the suite, but also the quality of all the collateral provided such as the demos, tutorials and samples. The controls themselves are easy to use, have a professional look and feel to them and without a doubt have focused our development on what is important (for us!) and away from the plumbing – always a good thing especially when you add in the savings in time and money from not re-inventing the wheel!

Telerik tools for WPF were exactly what we needed. The GridView control is worth the price of the whole suite! Databinding is a snap. Performance is good. And the Filter/Sort works right away. Couldn't ask for better tools.

In the last year, after demoing the Telerik suite, I made the decision to switch from a competing vendor to Telerik. The change affected our productivity immediately! We spent 75% less time troubleshooting features/bugs of the controls as Telerik components are almost completely bug-free as compared to the former vendor. The intuitiveness of the controls, the ease of use of the API references and examples, and all the forums make these controls serve their purpose. That purpose for us is to reduce time required to develop and test advanced, efficient controls to perform tasks like binding grids, uploading files, managing data entry for clinical applications and navigating our sites. The Ajax capabilities and inclusion of jQuery makes the client-side of these controls complete. I've found very few situations where I haven't had all the client/server side capabilities I would expect from each control to ensure efficiency and advanced capabilities.

I've been using the ASP.NET AJAX controls and lately have delved into the WPF control set as well. Telerik products are well tested, well documented and the support is top notch. The controls perform well in any size solutions - I've used the ASP.NET components on large scale, distributed systems with roughly 5,000 users logged in simultaneously. Telerik controls are a no brainer if you want to speed up your development with controls that have been proven to be the best in the industry.

I have researched and tested several WPF toolsets and I must say that compared to competing vendor suites, the Telerik WPF controls are up to date, and Telerik seems to listen to its users. Also, I love the ability to reuse code between my Silverlight and WPF applications. I just purchased the Telerik Premium Collection for .NET and am very happy with it. Thanks Telerik!

We love the Telerik Premium Collection for .NET, which we've been using for over 6 years now. Whenever we need a new component, we always check Telerik first, and usually there is already a solution for us to use. Originally we just started with the RAD-Editor. Today I have used every tool included in the Premium Collection of Telerik at least once. Support is also extremely responsive and professional. Way to go!
...And I would like to add that the integration of the Telerik controls into DotNetNuke is great. Love it!

I discovered Telerik this year because it's the first time I am using WPF for a software.
And it's so great! Telerik's controls are awesome! I was looking for a Scheduler Control, but I was also stunned by the Book Control, though I didn't need it. It's fabulous!
With Telerik I spare time in develpment. I found Telerik RadControls for WPF while I was looking for a Scheduler Control. After testing many controls, I can say that Telerik's are the best!

I first heard about Telerik form the Dot Net Rocks Pod Casts and had been looking around for a control set. Because I am more of a programmer and in most of my past positions worked on the data and business logic tiers, I was never really involved in the cosmetic aspect of a web site. After taking a new position, where we have a very lean development department, my role as a developer expanded into a jack of all trades master of none roll. The users of the applications we are creating really wanted aesthetically pleasing applications and so I reached out for help. I tried several other third party control companies, but after trying the demo for Telerik, I was surprised at how easy they where to use. I was able to create nice looking ASP.NET applications without having to spend a lot of time on making them pretty. I look forward to trying the other products they offer besides the RAD controls.
