There are a lot of choices for developers out there in the control world and 6 years ago, when we were making choices, we didn't have much information to go on, so we compared and investigated. I am very satisfied with Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. It is really easy to use. I am currently using it on my EMR/Electronic Medical Record and it is fantastic - it does not take much resources on the server side or client side like some other third party controls do. It is a wonderful tool for developers.

Our company Iconoi has more than a 100 solutions for more than 60 customers. We have worked on consulting, systems integration and software development projects with international and local companies. We needed to create an app
that dynamically shows a dashboard for a financial planner. It had to load information from different sources and data providers, transform, validate and integrate. We used Telerik’s RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX for Graphs, Grids, Filters, Panels and programmatically showing results in a UI Skin. We also use RAD Menus to dynamically present options to each user, depending of the profile and relevance in the organization. Using Telerik controls saved the development team at least 30% of the initial estimated time!

I have been using Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX for several years. It is my "go-to" set of controls in my user interface toolbox. Some of my data sources are more than 20 years old - spanning several technologies. RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX brings new life to our data layer with every new page created. Support is individualized and turn-around is promised to be within 1 business day. I have found it to be sooner. I know that I will always be current with my programming platform as long as I follow the Telerik path. I am happy to write the check to Telerik each time my subscription comes up for renewal. I can't say enough good things about Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. Not only do they simplify development, they are stable and fast. The functionality they provide is excellent and rivaled only by their ease of use and deployment. Telerik issues quarterly updates and a huge selection of online demos and samples that provide an insane value added to an already amazing bargain. A fully realized client API further enhances their flexibility and really pushes them far and above any other toolkit.
With so many great things going for it, it's no surprise that there is a large and active user community. The RadControls' forums are a superb resource for finding answers, which the Telerik team actively monitors and participates in. Almost every question I've had I've found an answer to in the forums. On those rare occasions where I needed a bit more help though, the support team was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided quick and accurate responses to support requests. The Telerik support team deserves as much praise as the tools themselves.

Telerik is consistent in their ability to deliver quality products and services with Grade A support. I have used everything from Sitefinity, RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX/WinForms, Kendo UI for MVC, and the entire "Just" line for productivity. We have created a system for one of our customers, that is used with the company’s CRM & Lead Generation process for the sales department. As new leads are generated from inbound or outbound calling, sales agents can schedule different tasks and provide follow-up to their different leads assigned. Development time was very short because I didn't have to actually program a scheduler, but used the one Telerik offers with their ASP.NET AJAX suite. Data bound features of Telerik's RadGrid are very powerful for generating the reports that the management of our client company needed. We drastically reduced resources & cost for this project thanks to Telerik. We were able to deliver this project with one developer in two months because of the rich functionality of the Telerik controls. It is a no brainer to use Telerik’s controls, because they accelerate delivery times for any project regardless of the software methodology. Also, if any team doesn’t have a budget for a graphic designer, with Telerik controls you can use their predefined skins and come out with a very elegant user interface.

I took the decision to integrate Telerik's ASP.NET Ajax components in a new project after I've used in the past some third party components. This is the best decision I could make, and there are several reasons for that: It is very easy to work with Telerik's controls; I've benefited from a great support by the Telerik team; Demos and documentation are well done; Telerik's components are the best looking ones -they use a large variety of themes; It's cheaper than other third party components suites that I’ve compared to.
The clients really loved the new application and I'm happy because I've delivered a great looking app with less effort than usual.

I have used the ASP.NET controls of a third party for almost two years, and when I switched to the Telerik controls I just fell in love. They almost have the same features and similar learning curve. However, I enjoy working with Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX more, because it is easier to deploy your application to production, the Skins and Themes are easier to use and deploy, and also the TFS integration with Team Pulse is amazing.

I have been using Telerik's ASP.NET AJAX controls for over 3 years now. I love their vast range of controls offered in the ASP.NET AJAX suite and now with the Extensions for ASP.NET MVC. These controls have made my programming life easier and helped me focus on the business logic side rather thinking of re-inventing the wheel.
Telerik has also been helpful with their support, as well as actively involved in their forums which are of great help to me in finding examples and advices on building applications, using their controls.
I've also had a sneak peak at their latest Kendo UI tools and I am excited to promote this tool as the latest innovation in programming towards HTML5 standards.

I have been using RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX for a few years and it has been a great experience. This product really lets you focus your coding on what your application is supposed to do and not on how you're going to present it. The "out-of-the-box" package can cover a large number of application scenarios. For those that it can't, it can be more or less easily extended and customized.

I have used Telerik products for about 6 months now. Telerik's controls are the best in the market. I own a license for the Telerik Premium Collection, but I have mostly used the RadControls for ASP.Net and these controls are a real job saver.
The RadScheduler & RadGrid controls make my life so easy and I enjoy using these controls so much.

We estimate that we saved hundreds of man hours just with the functionality that the ASP.NET AJAX controls provided. For example, the ability to group columns using the RadGrid gave our business users some unprecedented control over how they viewed their section of the budget. This allowed them to run several scenarios without our developers having to create specialized views.
We also found that support for the tools is impressive. When we hit obstacles, the Telerik user community was always there to lend a helping hand. If we needed quick turn around on an issue, our support tickets were answered in a very timely manner by knowledgeable staff.

We´re developing a Web-Application for managing our Flight-Operations, MRO and more. The use of Telerik Rad Controls for ASP.NET AJAX is the key to a flexible and responsive App. Many asked-for features are working out of the box. Transfering old ASP.NET-Controls to Telerik-Controls is easy. The self-implementation of the offered features are time- and costexpensive. I asked one of the Microsoft evangelists at a recent NYC .NET user group meeting for his advice on 3rd party suite of .NET controls. He didn't hesitate - Telerik. For ease of use if nothing else. He was right on the money. I am not yet quite a senior/lead, but have used 4 other control suites. I recall being underwhelmed by the first controls, frustrated by how complicated the second were - and how fragile!, the third having so many implementation issues and as for the fourth - ungainly and inflexible. The Telerik RAD controls just work. And work beautifully. And look nice. And if there is some functionality I need - all I have to do is look. Or ask. They handle 20 to 30 thousand line items like they are 20 or 30.

I was first turned on to the Telerik Controls from another developer at a different company. I had never heard of Telerik and was leaning on going with a third party's control suite. I had asked him why Telerik versus the other controls. He mentioned that the controls were very nice and stylish, and easy to use, but that it was the support and training materials of the product that he was really impressed with.
I decided to give them a try and check out the traning and demos on your site. That was the key that sold me. I have since bought the complete ASP.Net suite of tools and have to say that they are all, and more, that was "sold" to me. I am impressed with the product and especially with the support and training that is available. I have no doubt I will be as persuasive with a recommendation when I'm asked "Why Telerik?".

Telerik's ASP.Net AJAX control suite is by far the easiest suite of add-on products to install, integrate to Visual Studio, and use on a daily basis. One of the few products that does everything it says it does, right out of the box. Even the little things like true Intellisense support, a GUI interface on their controls that makes sense, and their documentation make it easy to dive right in and start using them. Their online documentation is the best of the best. Their sales and support team are timely and professional even when you're at the pre-sale stage and are willing to work with you when you are at the pre-sale stage with your own clients.

We employ Telerik’s ASP.NET AJAX controls because they provide visually polished solutions to problems, backed-up with testing and QA, that would otherwise take a considerable amount of time to develop from scratch. The ASP.Net DataGrid and GridView controls are especially programatic and the RadGrid looks really promising in regards to adding functionality without needing a lot of custom code that otherwise would be required.

Among the major advantages of using the Telerik RAD controls for ASP.NET AJAX is the fact that it enables you to produce visually appealing results quick. Especially for today's "fast turnaround" type IT-projects, providing quick prototypes can be crucial. I have experienced this first hand when I was involved in a project for one of the Fortune 500 companies: the Senior Management wanted a new, web-based tool for managing and reporting certain types of supplier transactions. Since this was a new customer, everyone in the project wanted to "wow" them. And we did: only 1 week into the project, the first few transaction management dialogues were finished and introduced to the customer. Instead of meaningless Power Point presentations, they were presented with a small set of fully
functional dialogues. Every week, we would introduce one or two new dialogues for them to play with. The resulting product was a vast success and is now used in all major offices of that customer worldwide.

Now owning my own development business and wanting to use the same great products, I looked to Telerik for the products and support I was used to back then.

I have been a Telerik customer for 9 years and leveraged the ASP.NET AJAX controls on 20+ websites. The value Telerik controls provide shows every now and then, when my team can leverage the controls instead of developing our own custom controls. It is not a question of whether you can afford the controls, but rather can you afford not to have them. Without them you will either 1) spend 10 times more time reinventing the wheel or 2) have to lower your application's UI experience.

After coming form a different company that uses a tool set of a competitor, I can say without a doubt that I would never switch from using Telerik again.
