We were interested on Telerik's ASP.NET AJAX since we first knew about them. We downloaded the trial versions and started testing them on new projects. We were amazed on how easy and fast we could add functions that usually took us a lot more time to build. Last week we attended to Telerik's webinars and discovered even more ways we could use their controls.

I have been using Telerik's ASP.NET AJAX controls for almost 2 years now. We create enterprise level applications that contain very complex business. Telerik controls allow us to spend more time creating and testing our Data and Business Layers without having to sacrifice the polished look of our UI. The controls are rather easy to integrate with existing controls and their support is second to none. Most questions are answered within a matter of hours with working sample code.

We built our application with the MVC model and Entity Framework which reduced the number of tools we could integrate for reporting. After installing the trial version of Telerik Reporting and watching some of the online demos we found Telerik to be the most user-friendly reporting tool for our application. The ability to drop the reporting object on a form and create a report with essentially no code was critical for us as reports will continually be added to the system.

Our latest project involved creating a highly customized implementation of Microsoft CRM 2011 for one of the largest Professional Employment Organizations (PEO) in the United States with offices throughout the county. The project necessitated integration between their ERP system and Microsoft CRM, numerous custom Microsoft CRM plugins, and Silverlight Web Resources to accommodate their unique requirements and ensure the system could enhance both their employee and customer experiences. We utilized Telerik RadControls for Silverlight and ASP.NET Ajax to expand upon native Microsoft CRM Case and Lead entity functionality. Telerik was able to provide Data grids with exponentially more functionality than we could have used with standard Silverlight. We utilized these controls as both Web Resources embedded in the Microsoft CRM 2011 entity form as well as in custom forms that interfaced with the CRM data through very simple data binding. Telerik provided many examples and source code which are great references for applying techniques to your own situation. Upon our successful experiences with the initial RadControls, we started diving into their many other controls for both Silverlight and ASP.NET. I fully intend to utilize Telerik's products for future Microsoft CRM and ASP.NET custom software projects.

SiteFinity is a great CMS and ideal for any developer familiar with ASP.NET, because it uses standard ASP.NET functionality such as Master Pages, User Controls and Themes. Along with this, various great Telerik controls are shipped with the product, such as menus and tab strips, so you can quickly build really complex websites and hand over to your customer to fill in the content. It’s also extremely easy to create new controls and embed them in pages - so there are no limitations or barriers for achieving what you need to achieve.
Since we started using SiteFinity, we’ve been able to offer enhanced CMS functionality for our clients and immediately impress them by directing them straight to the SiteFinity video demos. Because Sitefinity is priced competitively, it’s not a barrier for us to get new clients on board.

We recently created a navigation framework for web applications. We used Telerik's ASP.NET AJAX controls to have a common navigation interface, with an auto-hide menu tree, and a tab control to support multiple pages at the same time.
We have used this navigation framework in industries as diverse as oil-extraction and sport betting.
We found Telerik's controls to be a great addition to our toolbox. They are easy to use, very powerful, and save a lot of development time to have very professional applications.

I am writing my first app for the Windows 8 store and it turns out the standard set of UI controls in Visual Studio is lacking a few things. Among the more obvious are a date and time picker which are staples in many apps. Thank goodness for Telerik's RadControls! Their pickers look professional and like they were built native to the Win 8 platform.
I also love the gauges which are a flashy way of showing progress or status without making the user read data manually.
I look forward to being able to use more Telerik components now that I know the quality I can expect from Telerik.

I have been using some other controls for WinForms, but their coding implementation was not quite useful, some of them lacked functionality, had user interface issues and easily loaded the memory.
However, when I discovered Telerik RadControls for WinForms, it was a huge change for my project implementation. The suite helped me a lot on making a nice interface and adding more features to my application with its extended control functionality and fast GUI drag-and-drop features. Furthermore, there are many nice Themes that I could integrate in my system to make a wonderful look-and-feel. I really appreciate the great components in the Telerik RadControls for WinForms suite. Thank you!

I asked one of the Microsoft evangelists at a recent NYC .NET user group meeting for his advice on 3rd party suite of .NET controls. He didn't hesitate - Telerik. For ease of use if nothing else. He was right on the money. I am not yet quite a senior/lead, but have used 4 other control suites. I recall being underwhelmed by the first controls, frustrated by how complicated the second were - and how fragile!, the third having so many implementation issues and as for the fourth - ungainly and inflexible. The Telerik RAD controls just work. And work beautifully. And look nice. And if there is some functionality I need - all I have to do is look. Or ask. They handle 20 to 30 thousand line items like they are 20 or 30.

After using the ASP.NET Ajax controls, I was so impressed that I went ahead and got our company to purchase the Premium collection so I can spruce up a windows forms app that I designed and also complete a couple of web projects that are on the schedule. The documentation is superb and the support forums are just as helpful when you are looking for something specific.
It is rare that I send testimonials back to companies like this, but your products are great and you all deserve to hear that. Your developers should be proud of themselves (and everyone else for that matter).

I have been using the Telerik controls in projects now for over 2 years for various clients and needs. Every time the tools provide robust functionality and are a breeze to integrate. In specific implementations, specifically with DotNetNuke and their menu provider a simple menu switch to Telerik provided a 50% performance improvement with page loading. The tools are A+ and the support is great as well!

We have been using the Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC since they became available and they’ve been fantastic. There are many benefits to list but the most important for us is the reduction in development costs combined with highly functional and professional looking end products. The online demos get you up and running in no time and with a new release every quarter the toolset is constantly evolving. Our favorites are the Grid and TabStrip- saved us so much time and look great!

The Telerik RAD ASPNET Ajax controls are simply amazing. I'm currently using the RadTreeView to allow complex drag'n'drop configuration of 500 students across 15 -25 hospitals in 10 blocks to fine-tune the automated allocations. The speed of the control is absolutely amazing both in initializing and when moving nodes around. The flicker free AJAX updating is really impressive and my users didn't really believe they were using a WEB site - they thought it was windows program! I especially love the ease of adding traffic lights to the nodes (to ensure that hospitals don't get too many or too few students) and the attributes feature means you can store information in the nodes so on postback there is often no need to go to the data repository. The performance of the Chart controls is also impressive, as is the ease of building them dynamically. I've rewritten a complex generic questionnaire data analysis engine from Delphi which in some cases returns up to around 30 bar charts. Again the performance is stunning. I can't wait to get to grips with lots of the other controls. This is one purchase I'll never regret! Keep up the good work.

Telerik's RadControls for Silverlight are an awesome component pack. My company applications went better with simple customizations. The controls are easy to use and make the development way faster. In my case what helped me the most was was the RadGridView, it saves a lot of developing time because of it excel-like filtering and customizable columns.

I've used several Telerik products (RadControls for ASP.NET Ajax, WinForms, WPF, and OpenAccess ORM) since coming into the software development industry a little over four years ago, and have had nothing but great experiences in each go-round. First and foremost Telerik's product support is second to none. Anytime I've had an issue or question in the past I've almost always had a response (which is usually the solution/answer) within twenty four hours. Secondly, I find that their controls are extremely easy to implement, and are highly customizable. And finally there's a level of consistency of updates and new releases that is unmatched in this industry.

I have been using RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX for a few years and it has been a great experience. This product really lets you focus your coding on what your application is supposed to do and not on how you're going to present it. The "out-of-the-box" package can cover a large number of application scenarios. For those that it can't, it can be more or less easily extended and customized.

Getting started with something new is always a challenge, but I'm amazed at the ability of your support staff to quickly and more importantly clearly answer different questions. Telerik's tools are very intuitive and easy to start using very quickly. I have shaved weeks off of my development time by purchasing the Telerik Premium Collection for .NET. I am primarily using the Silverlight RadControls and the Reporting with plans to use the other tools, included in the Premium Collection in the near future.
The time Telerik saved me in my current project saved several times more in development cost than the price of the tools.
The videos and online information Telerik provides are great for learning the tools quickly. I definitely recommend Telerik to developers looking to get a jump on their development as well as a boost in the quality of their product.

The biggest benefits of OpenAccess are that it мakes it easy to build a data model that provides the foundation for simple to create, rich queries needed to power an analytics site like SL Commerce. With the tool I can work from either forward or reverse mappings. We have been using Telerik's ASP.NET controls since 2008. In 2008 a client asked us if Telerik controls can be used in his project. We were initially reluctant to try something new and were sticking to the native controls for development, but the project required to develop a scheduler and Telerik came out with Scheduler at the same time, so we could not resist anymore. Using Telerik's controls for that project helped us finish the project in time and meet the client's expectations for the graphical look & feel of the system, only thanks to the Telerik skins.
Since that day, we used Telerik for all our projects and have recommended to many of our clients to purchase it. We even got one client because of postings in Telerik forums and this became a long term relationship.
We cannot imagine now developing without using Telerik's products - and this is a very honest opinion. We hate to do mundane tasks of writing simple javascripts and choosing colors and, when Telerik already does that for us, it makes perfect sense to use the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and devote our time in developing the business logic of the applications.

I used to use a third party tool for decompiling my programs, but they stopped offering a free version of it. After a while I found JustDecompile and I really love it!
It has more functions than the other tool and it is totally free.

The Telerik MVC Extensions have improved tremendously from version 1 and version 2. I've taken my basic MVC website with rows and columns of text boxes to interactive views that have drop-down, combobox, date/time fields and more.
My end-users now have a product they are proud to use, easy to use and best of all functions cross browser.
The best component of the MVC controls has to be the Editable Grid. It's extremely easy to use and with just a few hours of reading and coding it's up and running.
