Telerik is looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our Administrative division. As a member of the team you will participate in innovative projects and in collaboration with your colleagues will take up the crucial role of system administration at Telerik.
Senior System Administrator will serve Telerik internal needs on a global level, responsible for administration and maintenance of Microsoft Team Foundation Server, overall infrastructure set-up, internal MSSQL and cluster systems. Senior System Administrator will also participate in planning and enforcement of policies and procedures intended to ensure the smooth operations, provisioning and maintenance of company enterprise systems.
You will be the person who has:
• Seven or more years of professional experience as a system administrator
• Profound knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, Active Directory, Application and Network infrastructure
• Experience and knowledge in managing, configuring and maintaining IIS web applications
• Experience and knowledge in managing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008: creating backup maintenance plans, security logins and permissions management, server health monitoring, database creation and security management
• Experience and knowledge in Microsoft windows 2008 failover clustering technologies
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager, System Center configuration manager or Microsoft SharePoint Server would be considered an advantage
• Holding Microsoft Server or Enterprise Administrator Certification would be considered an advantage
• Good English language skills
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and approaches
• Down-to-earth and friendly personality
