Challenges and Objectives : Our scheduling solution is used by healthcare providers and facilities to quickly enable physicians to refer there patients for procedures to healthcare facilities. Our challenge was to give our clients a multifuncitonal reporting application that would let them measure key performance indicators (KPI) as well as other required reports. The clients also wanted the ability to export and print the reports.Telerik Reporting presented an all–in–one solution for our reporting requirements. During deveopment, we migrated our MS SQL database backend to SQL Azure requiring minimal modifications to the reporting functionality.
Solution : Our application currently utilizes various Telerik components for the UI and it was an easy decision to use the Telerik reporting tools.We were quickly able generate the required reports and based on user feedback, modifications could be made in a very rapid fashion.Leaning on the excellent samples provided by Telerik as well as the documentaiotn available, we were able to provide a reporting solution in a very rapid timeframe.We have laid a reporting foundation that we are currently expanding.We are able to utilize the same reporting engine for an eventual Silverlight version.
Results : Our clients are very satisifed by the solution we have provided to them. All of our clients have embraced the reporting functionality and many are using them in their daily activities.We are able to quickly modify and enhance the current reports.
