    Hi,

    The asp.net version of the RadSchedular control has a property viz. AllowDelete, which decides the visibility of the delete button 'x'.
    This property is not available in the WPF and Silverlight versions of the control.

    Is there any simple way to achieve this functionality in the WPF and SL control as well.

    Hi Tarun,

    The delete button of the appointment item can be removed by editing the appointment control template. You can do that by generating RadScheduler template in Expression Blend. Or you can use the attached resources.

    The attached archive is a basic sample. Please, search for the word NOTE to find the modified spots.
