I have been using the SL controls for a while and have not installed anything lately that i could think of is causing this
First thing i noticed was that silverlight controls did not appear in the Telerik menu. All other extensions (ASP.NET, MVC, etc) are there
i then tried to create a new project (Telerik C# Silverlight ) and get the error in the attached screenshot
i then reinstalled RadControls_for_Silverlight_4_2011_1_0419_Dev.msi
after reinstalling i still had the same problems (the samples run btw)
then i came across the post about the 'Telerik Silverlight VS Extensions' and thought i'd try to install it
it showed me the following error messages during install

i tried to uninstall using the VStudio Tools->Extension Manager (VS run as administrator). i can uninstall most telerik extensions except for the silverlight one. it says you have to remove via add/remove programs
problem is it is not visible in add/remove programs at all
any idea how to get my ide to play nice with radcontrols again ?
