    Hi

Are appointments displayed in a specific order? e.g when many appointments are displayed in the timeline view I was expecting them to appear eiher in he order they were added or in time order but they seem to be a bit random and I cant work out a pattern.

To see goto your examples http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Scheduler/FirstLook and select timeline, hover to see times in tooltip.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul Ridden,

Appointments rendering in Day and Week view is based on three factors - first is appointment start, then appointment duration and then the index of the appointment in the source collection.

In Month/Timeline view we take the duration as a sort criteria for appointments that start on the same day. This is the default sort order in Outlook.

    Hi

This issue has resurface for me. I understand why you have reproduced Outlook behaviour, that makes sense. I'm not sure the Outlook behaviour makes sense to me but is there a way I can change this to ignore the duration and just use start time?

    Thanks

    Hello Paul,

There is no way to customize this behavior at this stage. We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes to you.

    Hi again

I've just be playing with the ScheduleView control in your demos. Would I be correct in saying that does allow this behaviour. If I move the appointments around they seem to appear purely in time order.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

The way appointments are ordered in RadSheduleView is the same as the order of appointment in RadScheduler. If two appointments have the same Start time, the longer appointment will appear first.

    All the best,
