    Hi Koen Meijer,

It is not currently possible, but we will implement it for Q1.2010 that will be released within 2 weeks time.

I noticed that if you have a tab set to collapsed the scrolling will still scroll to that tab.  I have just disabled the scrolling but would think that it shouldn't even attempt to display ones that are not visible.

    Hi Scott Rakestraw,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I logged it in our PITS as a bug under the name RibbonBar: You can scroll with the MouseWheel to a Ribbontab with Visibility="Collapsed". The item should be available for tracking from tomorrow the latest. I also updated your Telerik account accordingly.

On a side note, I just wanted to let you know that due to the many limitations of the current implementation of the RadRibbonBar, we decided that the best way to proceed would be to create a new control with the same API as the RibbonBar, but with improved functionality and design-time support. The control will be release with the upcoming Q2 2011 Beta release and we will highly appreciate any feedback on it once it's out.

    All the best,

    Hi,

I just downloaded the latest internal build from September 27th for Q2.2011. The problem that it is possible to scroll to collapsed Tabs still exists.

Will this problem be solved in reasonable time? Is there any usable workaround for this problem?

    Cheers,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

Please accept our apologies for the caused inconvenience. The fix will be included in the internal build next week. On a side note I strongly recommend you to take a look at the new RadRibbonView, because it is a lot more robust than the old control and contains some new cool stuff. You can read more about it here.
