Answered Rotation Restart?

If the user clicks one of the sides of the cube, it stops spinning and displays the image/control that they clicked on.
Also, if the user clicks the non-rotating image/control, then the cube starts spinning again.

Is there a way, that if the user doesn't click on the non-rotating image/control after a specified period of time, that the cube can start rotating again on it's on.

Something akin to a timeout.  If the cube sits in "non-spin" mode for a specified time, then it starts spinning again.

    Thanks,
    Mike T.

    Hi Mike,

Unfortunately the RadCube does not provide such kind of functionality. We logged the request in PITS  and will take your suggestion under consideration in following releases.

Also I gave you 1000 points for your feedback.

Thank you for your reply Hristo.

Just a little background for my reasoning:  I'm using the cube on a site for a client that sells t-shirts.  The cube is loaded with t-shirt designs and is located in the corner of the screen just to catch the visitors eye.  If the visitor clicks the cube to view one of the designs, they might not click again to restart the cube,  now we are losing the "catch their eye" effect for the other designs on the cube.

Thank you again for considering the "restart" feature.

    Hi Mike,

Considering your example, you can try to put a new instance of the cube when you need to restart its rotation. If the user had not used the cube for a period of time you can programmatically remove the instance and place a new one. This is a not a best practice, but it may work for you and if you don't degrade performance, it's worth trying it.
