    Hi raja babu,

You mentioned you have both WebAii Testing Framework and Design Canvas v2.0 installed. Can you please share which version of DC do you have installed? Have you downloaded it as part of WebUI Test Studio (including both Design Canvas and WebAii) or have you downloaded it separately from ArtOfTest? If it's a separate download I suspect some collision between the versions which would be expected since Design Canvas is built on top of (another) WebAii version.

    Hi Raja Babu,

Do you have a language pack or MUI pack installed for Windows 7? Also, please make sure your login account has administrator privileges, UAC is turned compeletely off (UAC for Windows 7 is described here), and that you have Service Pack 1 installed for Visual Studio.

And in Visual Studio, if you can please click on 'Help' -> 'About Microsoft Visual Studio' -> 'Copy Info' and paste that to a text document. On the same 'About Microsoft Visual Studio' window, please click 'System Info', then select all of the 'System Summary' Information to copy to the text document also.

Please then zip up the text document and sent it to us as an attachment to check out.

    Hello again Raja,

After working with customers who were getting the same error you are, please try the following:

    - Open up a Visual Studio Command Prompt and type 'devenv /ResetSkipPkgs'

If this does not work, please try uninstalling and reinstalling WebUI Test Studio using an account that is part of the local Administrators Group for the machine, not a domain or any network admin account that may still have security restrictions on it.

Here is a link to adding your account to part of that group in Windows 7 (the note at the bottom of the page describes the Administrators Group and it's access level).

Please let us know if that works for you.

    Regards,
    Nelson
