Hello everyone and welcome back to XAMLflix with RadCalculator for Silverlight and WPF. I hope you have been enjoying the series as last week we took a look at RadPropertyGrid and RadComboBox. This week we will be taking a look at RadCalculator for Silverlight and WPF.
What is XAMLflix you might ask? Well, it is Telerik’s way of teaching you how to use both new and existing controls from Telerik’s XAML suite. Each and every Tuesday and Thursday, we will provide a fresh batch of videos and sample projects highlighting a different control. Since our Silverlight and WPF share a common codebase and API, you only have to learn how to use these controls once! You can simply copy and paste the code between frameworks.

RadCalculator for Silverlight/WPF has a simple easy-to-use interface enabling the end user to perform all basic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division as well as some more complicated ones – reciprocal, square root, negate. The operations can be executed either by clicking the calculator buttons, or by using your keyboard. You can also use the numeric keypad to type numbers and operators by pressing Num Lock. Furthermore, all the Memory and Clear features are exposed as well.
