RadControls for WinForms Q1’12 Refresh Brings VS11 Support, .NET 4.0 Build and Win8 Beta Compatibility

The time has come for Microsoft to officially announce and deliver Visual Studio 11 Beta and Windows 8 Consumer Preview. We are aware that together with us you want to ride the wave of the latest innovations in the software world. Therefore, we decided that we should deliver the respective updates as soon as possible. And here they are:

Visual Studio 11 Support

Just install our WinForms suite on VS 11 and you will be immediately available to start working with our tools. Toolbox, design-time support, templates – all this is supported by VS 11 allowing you to continue your work with the WinForms suite on the latest state-of-the-art Visual Studio.

.NET 4.0 Client Profile Build

This build clears the path for adding new improvements using the features available in .NET 4. Now the .NET 4 Client Profile is supported by all controls in the suite and allows you to run applications created with RadControls for WinForms on a PC where only .NET 4 Client Profile is installed. Of course, we will continue supporting .NET 2.0 and both builds will contain all updates and new features that will be added in future.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview support

We are happy to announce that our suite fully supports Windows 8. Just install our controls and give them a try there.
