Yup, get ready for a load of exciting new features that will be shipped with the next major release (R2 2012) of Test Studio coming to you mid-September:

Keeping up with the latest and greatest from Microsoft

You’re testing in an ever-changing world, and you need tools that can keep up. Test Studio is committed to staying on the forefront of technology, be it on the web, desktop, or mobile device. Windows 8 is just around the corner, and there are a bevy of new technologies that are bundled with it. Test Studio will have full Recording and Execution support on Windows 8, along with support for the newest browser offering from Microsoft, Internet Explorer 10. We’re also updating Test Studio Visual Studio plugin to integrate well with the Visual Studio 2012 development environment.

Beware: Mobile testing explosion ahead

We’re hard at work ensuring Test Studio for iOS always works with the latest software updates and SDKs. You’ll also be able to view your mobile test results from any web browser to get an instant snapshot of your software quality, no matter where you are.

And that’s not all! We’ll be also adding integration of performance and load tests, more interactive load test analysis and reporting, and more.

Last but not least, we tried to address as much of your feedback and feature requests as possible!
