Telerik blogs

It’s been 2 years, 4 months, and 28 days since my last blog post – so I figured this one had better be good.

Over the past several years, the team at Telerik has shipped countless new features evolving Test Studio from an automated testing tool to an end-to-end testing solution. While the focus has always been and will remain on end to end testing – we’ve decided to split our offering into two solutions – one focused on functional test automation, and one focused on load testing. For those who want it all – fear not, we will continue to offer an even better all-in-one solution.

Introducing the new Test Studio.

Test Studio Functional

  • Functional test automation
  • Manual & Exploratory testing
  • Scheduling, results, reporting
  • Visual Studio plug-in

Test Studio Load, powered by Fiddler

  • Load testing
  • 100 Included virtual users
  • Scheduling, results, reporting

Test Studio Ultimate

  • Test Studio Functional
  • Test Studio Load
  • Performance testing

Introducing Flexible Subscription Pricing.

In company with the new Test Studio product line, comes new pricing and new licensing options allowing you to mix and match license types to scale easily with your team’s needs.

Perpetual License

You own the license and pay annual maintenance for access to product updates and priority support.

Annual Commitment

This licensing option requires an annual commitment, and will be billed monthly via credit card. This license must remain active in order to access the software. While active, you will have access to all product updates and priority support.

Month to Month

Your credit card will be billed monthly, cancel any time. This license must remain active in order to access the software. While active, you will have access to all product updates and priority support.

In case you’re wondering – all our testing products, including Runtime Editions and Virtual User Packs can be purchased using any of the three options described above – we are not forcing you into one or another; the choice is yours, young Jedi. This flexibility means you can throttle up your virtual users to 10,000 for just one month without breaking the bank – or add a couple testers for a few months as you near product release – it’s the utmost in flexibility for the product you already know and love.
