On Wednesday October 29, we hosted our 3rd 2014 release webinar for Telerik DevCraft. We wanted to promote a lot of cool new features and two new product announcements during this webinar, and you showed up in numbers for the event.
We had more than 700 questions from you during the course of this event. That is a rate of almost eight questions a minute, simply a tremendous volume of questions for the Telerik team. We are flattered by your enthusiasm and interest in our products.
This volume of questions is taking us some time to go through, and to ensure we provide appropriate answers for all of your questions. While we are wrapping up those questions, we felt it would be appropriate to provide links to our source code, recorded video AND announce the winners to our prize drawings.
You can find the recording of the webinar online. Source code is available for:
All attendees of the live webinar will receive a coupon code in a follow-up email, so everyone is a winner for just attending the session. However, several of the attendees are getting a little something extra:
The 10 DevCraft license winners are:
Also, we’re going to send an LG Watch to Tan Lee. An iPhone 6 is on the way to Jeremy Lawrence and a Surface Pro 3 will be shipped to Richard Miga.
When we reviewed the list of questions that were submitted, it was very hard to select a winner. There were many excellent questions. After a bit of deliberation, we have decided to award Paul Patterson an Oculus Rift for his awesome questions about disconnected state and the mobile capabilities of the RadGrid. Thanks Paul!
But wait… there was another question that we just couldn’t ignore.
“Could my grandmother get into development with Kendo UI or RAD frameworks?”
Absolutely! Everyone’s grandmother can get productive building great software with Telerik controls and tools. To show our appreciation for this fun question, we’re going to send some Telerik swag to beauXjames tschirhart and his grandmother.
Keep your eyes on this blog in the next few days. As soon as we have all of your questions answered, we will share a follow-up post that contains the answers you were looking for. Thank you very much for attending the event
