Test as Step Results

Let's look at an example of a test, run with Quick Execution, that contains a Test as Step and how to view and interpret the results.

 

 

Here I have inserted the Google web test as a step at the end of a test that performs a simple Bing search. The Google test contains a Verify step at the end that I know will fail.

The blue square shows the overall test results. The red square shows the results of the test as step, including failure information.

 

Close this log to go back to the steps pane. Double click the red and white X icon next to the failed step to receive additional Step Failure Details.
