Manual Activation

The following steps demonstrate how to manually activate Test Studio on a machine without an internet connection. Please note that while the machine that will run Test Studio is not connected to the internet, you will need access to the internet and our website to complete this process.

  1. Open Test Studio. You should be prompted to activate your license.
  2. Select either Trial Evaluation or Purchase Activation.
  3. Click Next.

  5. Select Manual and click Next.

  7. Copy your machine key from the Machine Info Key field for later use.

  9. Click the License Keys Management Form link in Test Studio (link provided here as well) to be taken to the correct website (you can use this to copy the URL if necessary).
  10. You will be brought to the Manage License Keys for Telerik Testing Tools page. Scroll down to the bottom and click + Add a key
  11. Input your machine info key within the provided field, then click the Generate Registration Key button. 
  12. After waiting a few moments, click Show key file. You are provided with a very long registration key (the entire contents of the large white box).
  13. Click copy key.
  14. Paste the registration key within the field in Test Studio, then click Activate.

  16. You should receive a message that the activation was successful, and then be able to use the application as normal. If you run into an issue using this, please send an email to sales@telerik.com. Make sure your email contains:
    • Email address on account.
    • Machine info key.
    • A copy of any error message you are receiving while trying to activate your software.
    • A screenshot of the issue (if possible, must be in .jpg/.png/.gif format).
