Reduce time for executing
Often manual test scripts require a lot of time for setup and configuration before the true testing begins. If you’re testing commenting on a blog post as a logged in user you’ll first need to create a blog owner, create a blog for the owner, create a blog post as that user, then create a test user to do the actual comment.
It’s not uncommon to spend ten minutes doing setup work for a test that takes only a few moments to complete. Advanced testers will often cobble together utilities and small scripts to perform these setup actions.
Test Studio’s Fast Forward feature lets you quickly accomplish the same tasks within one consolidated environment. Have an existing test that does the setup steps you need? Bring it in to your manual test straight away! Need to write some code to handle database initialization or system configuration? You can do that too!
