Why it's important to get new bugs triaged
Triage is the process, in which bugs are reviewed and priority is assigned to them based on severity, frequency and other factors. In TeamPulse during the triage process you can assign status, estimate, area and severity of bugs, as well as specify steps to reproduce the bug and acceptance criteria. This ensures not only that developers work on the highest priority bugs, but also that they have all the required information to locate the problem quickly.

Manage bugs according to best practices with the Best Practices Analyzer
Unlike other solutions which just passively capture data, TeamPulse always you to analyze your project data with the Best Practices Analyzer and find out if it conforms to best practices. For example, if your triaged bugs are not assigned to an area, the Best Practices Analyzer will report this problem and remind you that bugs that are triaged should be assigned to an area to help with identification of problematic areas of the project.

Automated Testing Integration with Test Studio
Thanks to the tight integration between TeamPulse and Test Studio you can now ensure that all your requirements are properly defined, tested and that all bugs are captured and managed effectively. You can automatically link acceptance criteria for user stories in TeamPulse to functional tests in Test Studio. At the same time if you catch a bug in the software you are testing you can automatically log it in TeamPulse where it can be triaged, assigned, tracked and integrated into the development process. In addition, TeamPulse also syncs all the information relevant to the bug - the failed step log, the complete test log, a screenshot of the interface when the failure occurred, and a snapshot of the DOM tree in XML form.
