Not answered Task board no longer working when using both TFS2008 and TFS2010

    I'm normally working with TFS 2008, but needed to do a test run with tfs2010. Now when trying to use the taskboard again on a TFS2008 project it doesn't show anything. The tfs2010 project works fine.
    Probably to do with parent/child settings that now are required and not filled in with tfs 2008 project?

    Hi Arjan,

    The task board should be able to work fine with TFS2008.  The parent/child feature should not be available if you are connecting to a 2008 instance and it should function as it always has.

    Would you be able to take a screenshot of the task board settings screen when connected to your 2008 project?  It would also be helpful to see what is in your task board settings file for this project.  The task board settings are stored here:

    For projects on a TFS 2008 instance:
    {My Docs}\Work Item Manager 2010\{server}\{project}\TaskBoardSettings.xml

    For projects on a TFS 2010 instance:
    {My Docs}\Work Item Manager 2010\{server}\{collection}\{project}\TaskBoardSettings.xml
