  Two issues:
  
  1. During setup I wasn't asked if I wanted shortcuts on the desktop. I think this should be added since it's standard practice.
  2. After starting up the dashboard I was presented with a full screen displaying an error about 'There are no projects to display ..'. This totaly obscured the whole desktop. When configured the dashboard also totally obscured the desktop. This isn't acceptable in any product.

  Thanks for your feedback regarding your experiences with the installation of WIM/PD.
  
  Since the dashboard was designed to run full screen (and all the time) on an external display (like a TV) in your project room, or on a secondary display it is defaulted to full screen. We added a setting to run the dashboard in a window for situations where a user wanted to run it on their main desktop. You can switch to windowed mode by opening the dashboard settings and checking the "Open in Windowed Mode."
