This release provides major updates available across the entire Telerik developer tools portfolio and is available for immediate download at: http://Telerik.com/download.
This release provides updates to more than twelve separate Telerik products. Highlights include:
Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC
New features and enhancements of each suite, ranging from comments in the RadEditor and client-side binding in RadListView for ASP.NET AJAX, to the new functionality and chart type for the ASP.NET MVC Chart component.
Telerik RadControls (XAML) for Silverlight and WPF
This version brings the official release of RadChartView, as well as the release of two new beta controls. The new RadGanttView helps developers visualize and manage hierarchical project data easily in an MVVM-friendly way. RadDiagrams makes it easy to create rich data visualizations, including Organizational, Class and Flow diagrams, all rendered natively in XAML. This release also includes the official versions of TimeLine, ChartView for WPF and Silverlight and PDFViewer for Silverlight.
Telerik RadControls for WinForms
Telerik RadControls for WinForms now delivers one of the most requested features, “Printing.” With support for the RadScheduler and RadGridView controls, it enables the developer to directly pass the control’s contents to a printer. Also new are the TimePicker and Clock controls for your time-savvy users.
Telerik Reporting now includes a new end-user Report Designer (beta). This standalone authoring tool empowers non-technical users create ad-hoc reports based on Telerik Reporting. Report definitions are saved as XML files, so new reports can be easily shared with other users.
Telerik RadControls for Windows Phone
New components such as Error Diagnostics, RateAppReminder, TrialReminder and LiveTileHelper will help you engage deeper with your end-user and ultimately achieve better app’s ranking on the marketplace. Also new are the Tooltip, and Rating controls.
Telerik OpenAccess ORM Data Tools
New batch database operations provide a quick and easy way to update your data model’s classes and properties with a few simple clicks. The new Fluent Mapping Generator will generate fluent code in only a few minutes.
Telerik Visual Studio Productivity Extensions
JustCode now includes LINQ conversions, enhancements to the test runner, and support for QUnit. The new version of JustTrace makes it easier to find memory hogs with the dominator tree. JustMock gains mscorlib mocking improvements.
